Please take a moment to read these online shopping terms and conditions to understand how they apply to your online purchase of any products or services. Use of our website is also subject to additional terms which apply to online purchases and can be found on this website. Product Sales and Availability All products displayed on our website are sold through the Market on behalf of our online suppliers and are subject to availability.
Ordered products will be delivered within the Republic of South Africa to areas where we deliver. At our discretion, we will deliver to foreign countries by individual quotation. Please contact us should you require such a delivery and let us know which products you would like to purchase.
All prices shown on our website are quoted in South African Rands and are valid and effective only in the Republic of South Africa. We reserve the right to discontinue or change the specifications of the products and services of our online suppliers from time to time without notice. We will inform you as soon as possible if any products or services ordered by you are not available.
Pricing You will be charged the prices that are reflected online, subject to availability and delivery address. Please be aware that the prices exclude or include Value-Added Tax depending on the online supplier being VAT registered which will be clearly reflected in your order confirmation email and on your requested invoice. A delivery fee will be charged for each order you place.
Payment We accept Visa Card, MasterCard, American Express Credit Card, Dinners Club Credit Card and all banking debit cards for your payment through our online shop.
When you order online, funds equal to the total value of your order, including the courier fee will be reserved against the card you are paying with during the checkout process. By submitting your order and confidential payment card details you warrant that you are authorised to make payment with the payment card and that there are sufficient funds available to pay for the order.
We are committed to providing secure online payment facilities. All transactions are encrypted using appropriate encryption technology. You will be directed to a secure site for your payment of your ordered products.
Stock Availability We cannot always guarantee stock availability and will deliver a substitute product, if possible, where you have authorised us to do so. If after payment our online suppliers are unable to supply certain items or quantities ordered, we will make contact with you and refund you accordingly or agree with you on placing the item(s) on backorder.
Confirmation of Orders Your order is deemed to be accepted when you receive an order confirmation via email.
Delivery Ordered products will be delivered within the Republic of South Africa to areas where we deliver.
Currently, we do not offer delivery outside of South Africa in our checkout process. At our own discretion, we will deliver to foreign countries by individual quotation. Please contact us should you require such a delivery and let us know which products you would like to purchase.
On delivery, you will receive our delivery note showing the items delivered, any substitute items and any non-available items. You or your authorised representative will be asked to sign a duplicate copy of the delivery note to confirm receipt. For verification purposes, the person accepting delivery at the delivery address may be required to produce a form of identification. Any person other than yourself who receives the products at the delivery address is presumed to be authorised to accept delivery on your behalf.
Should no-one be in attendance at the time of delivery, the courier service will keep the products and will try to contact you to make new arrangements for delivery or collection. We reserve the right to charge an additional delivery fee should this be required. Our liability for any delay in delivery is limited to re-delivery at a later agreed time at no additional charge.
Delivery times are centred around our market days held on Thursdays and Saturdays.
All online orders received from Wednesday 12 noon to Friday 12 noon will be dropped off by our suppliers on the next Saturday market day and despatched to the courier service on the following Monday.
All online orders received from Friday 12 noon to Wednesday 12 noon will be dropped off by our suppliers on the next Thursday market day and despatched to the courier service on the same day.
Depending on the area, the courier service will take 1 (one) to 5 (five) working days to deliver your products to you.
If your purchased product is a product on order, meaning that it will be hand-made personally for you, you need to add the manufacturing time to the delivery time. You will find the manufacturing time in the detailed product view saying: “Hand-made in … working days.”
If your order consists of products that are in stock and available immediately as well as products that are on order and need a certain amount of time to be hand-made personally for you, we will wait until we have received all ordered products from our online suppliers before we send the order to you.
Courier fees are subject to change.
Collection Ordered products can be collected from the Market if the customer selects ‘Collection from the Market’ during the checkout process. Customers will be notified by the Market when the order is ready for collection. Collection days are Mondays to Saturdays 8am to 3:00pm. On collection, you will receive our delivery note showing the items delivered, any substitute items and any non-available items. You or your authorised representative will be asked to show the order confirmation document received from us and sign a duplicate copy of the delivery note to confirm receipt. For verification purposes, the person collecting the ordered products may be required to produce a form of identification. Any person other than yourself who collects the products from the market will be asked to show the according order confirmation document and is presumed to be authorised to accept receipt on your behalf.
If your order consists of products that are in stock and available immediately and products that are on order and need a certain amount of time to be hand-made personally for you, the Market will contact you to discuss your preference of waiting for all products to be delivered and then collecting the entire order, or making two collections as the products become available for collection.
Force Majeure Bryanston Organic & Natural Market shall not be liable for any loss, damage or delay arising out of its failure hereunder due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including without limitation, acts of God or the Client, acts of civil or military authority, fires, strikes, floods, epidemics, quarantine restrictions, war, riots, delays in transportation, or transportation embargoes.
Returns & Refunds You may return a product purchased online to us within 7 (seven) days of delivery of the item for a full refund, replacement or exchange, provided you have the original order confirmation email, and it is in its original condition. You will have to courier the product back to us at your expense. Upon receipt, we will inspect the item and if it is in its original state, we will refund you the value of the product on behalf of our online supplier.
If a product is broken, defect or damaged when you receive it, please notify the Market within 1 (one) working day of receipt. We will collect the product from you at no charge. Once we have inspected the product and validated your return, we will then make arrangements for a replacement to be sent to you at our expense or to refund you in full for the damaged product on behalf of the online supplier.
If we accidentally deliver the wrong product to you, or if the product is not as described on the website, please notify us within 1 (one) working day of receipt and we will collect the product from you at no charge. Once we have inspected the product and validated your return, we will at your choice deliver the correct product to you at our expense as soon as possible or refund you in full for the item on behalf of the online supplier.
All refunds will be processed into the account of original billing.

Cancellation If for any reason, you would like to cancel an order please send an e-mail to onlineshop@bryanstonorganicmarket.co.za. An order may be cancelled prior to shipment and/or delivery/collection only by written notice and may incur reasonable cancellation and restocking charges, including reimbursement for direct costs, plus allowance for disruption. We may debit your payment card for the delivery fees in respect of any late cancellations. If you cancel your payment for any reason or if your payment card should cease to be valid for whatever reason, you will remain liable for the full purchase price, including all related costs. We reserve the right to cancel any sale and/or your registration in the event of a breach of any of these or the General Terms.
Limits of Liability Notwithstanding any other provision in these Terms the entire liability of the Bryanston Organic & Natural Market under or in connection with the items purchased shall not exceed the sum paid to the Bryanston Organic & Natural Market by you for the Goods which are the subject of the claim in question.
Risk and Ownership Risk in the products shall pass to you or your authorised representative on delivery or collection from the Market. The online supplier will retain ownership of the products until payment is received in full.
Protection of Private Information All businesses keep personal information of some kind – be it employee records, customer information or data related to their supply chain. The Protection of Private Information Act changes the way the Bryanston Organic & Natural Market handles this information from the point it is collected right through to how it is eventually disposed of or destroyed. Acceptance of these Terms will confirm your acceptance regarding the scope and terms and application of the Protection of Private Information Act.
General These Terms and all disputes arising there under shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the country or local jurisdiction of the Bryanston Organic & Natural Market 's principal place of business.
